2022年11月、ボストンから移住してきて3ヶ月目でこの物件を見つけて即問い合わせ、そして契約。2023年の1月にショップオープンとなりました。
土地勘もあまり無い中、こんな素敵な場所が見つかって本当に良かったと日々感じています。
ボストンでのビジネスも、周りの方々に支えられ、素晴らしいコミュニティの中で楽しく仕事が出来ました。そして沖縄に来て、またしてもあたたかいコミュニティに日々助けられています。
沖縄の皆様、私たちのような新参者を優しく受け入れてくださりありがとうございます。沖縄の文化や歴史としっかりと学び、敬意をもって、この土地でビジネスをさせて頂こうと考えています。
When I found this location in November 2022, three months after moving from Boston, I immediately inquired and signed the contract.
The shop opened in January 2023.
Even though I first didn't know much about the area, I feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful place.
The people around me also supported my business in Boston, and I was able to enjoy working in a beautiful community.
And after coming to Okinawa, I am once again being helped by the warm community daily.
I want to thank the people in Okinawa for welcoming newcomers like us.
I want to thoroughly learn about the culture and history of Okinawa and do business with our highest respect towards this land.
Location
国際通りから浮島通りに入り、まっすぐ進んで商店街を過ぎ、うふシーサーの少し手前にある壺屋ビルの1階です。
リノベ物件が得意な不動産屋dspecさんが手がけた、このビル、魅力的な店舗ばかり入っています。
お隣は、沖縄市で照明や音響などを手掛けるBanana Conceptさんによるショールームで、
現在はポップアップでFUSEという美容室になっています。
2階はアパレルショップのkikiruさん。長く着られる、上質なお洋服に出会えます。
3階は、dspecさんが営むコワーキングスペース兼本屋さん兼カフェ。
ついつい手にしたくなるコンセプト系zineやアート・デザイン系の本が積まれていてワクワクします。
そしてビルの道を挟んでお隣が、感度の高い料理家に愛されるうつわ屋さんGarb Domingoさん。
他にもこの周辺には、ほんと面白いお店がたっくさんあるので是非ぶらぶらしてみてください！

Enter Ukishima Street from Kokusai Street and go past the Sunrise Naha shopping street. We are on the first floor of the Tsuboya Building, a little before reaching the Ufu Shisa.
This building, designed by d-spec, a real estate agent specializing in renovation properties, is filled with attractive shops.
Next door to us is the Banana Concept showroom, which specializes in handling lighting and sound in Okinawa City.
Currently, the space is a pop-up beauty salon called FUSE.
Kikiru, an apparel shop, is on the second floor. You can find high-quality clothes with timeless designs that will last a long time.
The 3rd floor is a coworking space/bookstore/cafe run by d-spec.
It's an exciting place to pick up conceptual zines, art books, and design books.
Next door, across the street from our building, is Garb Domingo, a ceramics and tableware pottery shop loved by chefs with discerning eyes and sensitivity to high art.
There are many other interesting shops in the area, too, so be sure to stop by!
