2022年11月、ボストンから移住してきて3ヶ月目でこの物件を見つけて即問い合わせ、そして契約。2023年の1月にショップオープンとなりました。
土地勘もあまり無い中、こんな素敵な場所が見つかって本当に良かったと日々感じています。
ボストンでのビジネスも、周りの方々に支えられ、素晴らしいコミュニティの中で楽しく仕事が出来ました。そして沖縄に来て、またしてもあたたかいコミュニティに日々助けられています。
沖縄の皆様、私たちのような新参者を優しく受け入れてくださりありがとうございます。沖縄の文化や歴史としっかりと学び、敬意をもって、この土地でビジネスをさせて頂こうと考えています。
When I found this location in November 2022, three months after moving from Boston, I immediately inquired and signed the contract.
The shop opened in January 2023.
Even though I first didn't know much about the area, I feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful place.
The people around me also supported my business in Boston, and I was able to enjoy working in a beautiful community.
And after coming to Okinawa, I am once again being helped by the warm community daily.
I want to thank the people in Okinawa for welcoming newcomers like us.
I want to thoroughly learn about the culture and history of Okinawa and do business with our highest respect towards this land.
Location
国際通りから浮島通りに入り、まっすぐ進んで商店街を過ぎ、うふシーサーの少し手前にある壺屋ビルの1階です。
リノベ物件が得意な不動産屋dspecさんが手がけた、このビル、魅力的な店舗ばかり入っています。
お隣は、沖縄市で照明や音響などを手掛けるBanana Conceptさんが運営するRight Loomにて、沖縄のオーディオメーカー知名オーディオさんの直営ショールーム。
2階はsee em why kの姉妹店、国内外のクリエーターが出店！HUE Creators Guild。沖縄にフォーカスした商品をはじめ、ストーリー性の高いアイテムが並んでいます。
3階は、dspecさんが営むコワーキングスペース兼本屋さん兼カフェブンコノブンコ。
ついつい手にしたくなるコンセプト系zineやアート・デザイン系の本が積まれていてワクワクします。
そしてビルの道を挟んでお隣が、感度の高い料理家に愛されるうつわ屋さんGarb Domingoさん。
他にもこの周辺には、ほんと面白いお店がたっくさんあるので是非ぶらぶらしてみてください！

Enter Ukishima Street from Kokusai Street and continue straight, passing through the shopping arcade. We are located on the first floor of the Tsuboya Building, just before reaching the Ufu Shisa statue.
This building, renovated by d-spec, a real estate agency specializing in renovation properties, is home to a number of unique and attractive shops.
Next to us is Right Loom, operated by Banana Concept, a lighting and sound design company based in Okinawa City. It also serves as the official showroom for Chinen Audio, a local Okinawan audio manufacturer.
The second floor is home to HUE Creators Guild, the sister store of see em why k, featuring a curated selection of items from creators around the world. Many of the products are story-driven and focus on Okinawa.
The third floor is bunkonobunko,a coworking space, bookstore, and café operated by d-spec.
You'll find conceptual zines and an exciting selection of art and design books that invite you to pick them up.
Just across the street from the building is Garb Domingo, a pottery and tableware shop beloved by chefs with a refined eye for aesthetics.
There are many other fascinating shops in the area, so take your time exploring!
